Probably a day off. IT band on my left side seems to haved loosened up after 7 weeks but last night my lower right back, the muscle thast parallels the spine got really sore and when I headed out the door today I made it 10 seconds before stopping and walking back. Pretty much more of the same since April, I just cannot get my hips and lower back to stay in alignment and once one side gets better the other seems to have issues.
If I had a baseball bat I'd got out back and beat a rock with it. I'm so frustrated.
I said probably a day off but I'm trying to loosen it up and I may go out after dark for a run. I'm not starting over, if I have to I'll run more miles tomorrow to make up for today. Screw all the rules for increasing milage. At this point I'm in pretty shitty shape anyways since other than some easy running I haven't gotten a real workout in for a long time. It's a bunch of bullshit.
At least I feel good and my Thalassemia diet seems to be making me feel full of energy and next week when I get some more blood work I bet my levels have gone up. But feeling good is only part of it and I've got to be able to train.
