Easy 7.1 miles, 43:56. Felt almost tropical out with the humidity. Running into the heavy wind was actually nice. Strange weather for October.
Getting some new shoes this week so I can start hammering out the mileage. Right now I want to go out and run 15+ miles every run but these first few weeks back I'm going to ease into things a little.
In 2009 I didn't start doing workouts forMidwinter and Hyannis(2010) until November 23rd, so this next month is simply to get some volume in and stay healthy.
Of course if I feel like I'm fit as heck in December I'll fly out to Cal International or some other marathon and run it. When you're ready you're ready. I doubt I'll be ready until at least the end of January, but you never know.
