7.3 miles on the carriage roads, 47:24. Pretty slow for the effort, but these new clown shoes with super feet in them weigh 14oz and I might as well be running in boots.
Smart or not I managed 18.7 miles for the first day after a week of only 42 last week. Still pretty gimpy but better. The only way to get rid of the IT band problem is rest, but I'm not starting over again, so I'll use ice, advil, and stretching until the damn thing snaps or it loosens up. If I had any sack I'd cut the damn thing and it would loosen up pretty damn fast.
