Managed my 45 minutes on the bike both Friday and Saturday and got in a lot of studying as well. I got my grade for my winter session course. I got an A. I'm happy that I got an A because I worked really hard, but I'm more excited with how much I learned. Going to college now is so much different than college right after High School. I'm very interested in learning now.
Woke up to my day off Friday to no water in my house. Uh, oh, frozen pipes. I love being a home owner. My brother and I who work together deal with these kinds of things a lot at work so I called him knowing he was 5 miles away and he came by to help me take a look in the crawl space under the house. Autumn used the hair dryer in the house while I took the heat gun into the crawl space. My brother went to get a salamander forced air propane heater to put in the crawl space. I had a good idea where the problem was and before he'd gotten back had gotten the water going again. Still we put the salamander down under for 20 minutes and thawed out everything. Don't try that at home if you don't know what you're doing though because you will burn your house down easily if you are not careful. Afterwards I insulated some areas that were probably the cause and I think just having so many days hovering around 0 degrees with the wind finally did it. Luckily we caught it in time and no damage was done.
