28th-4.9 miles, 32:19. Roads, easy. Tired, but it was good to get out for a run.
Oct. 1st- 8.5 mile run,53:37. Hiked up Champlain earlier in the day with MF, then went out for a run as the sun went down. Decided after about 6 miles to run 1.5 miles at a quicker pace to see where I'm at. Surprised myself running 8:06 without pushing very hard. That's just about the pace I've run a marathon at, 5:24 pace. Not bad with this being the beginning of week 5 and only running every few days. I really am trying to run more and I will for sure as the winter gets closer. But I'm excited to be able to run like this off of 20-25 miles a week. I doubt I'll get up into the 120-150 mile weeks I used to do, but if I can get up to the 60-80 range then I have no doubt all my pr's will fall. After all 35 isn't too old. All my pr's are off of 60-80-miles a week anyway.
